Sagepath is thrilled to share the news that Sagepath’s LiveUp program is an Honoree in the Education category of the 22nd Annual Webby Awards, the leading international award honoring excellence on the internet.
We are as excited as we are humbled that LiveUp, created for the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation (CMOHF) with support from Delta Air Lines, has been singled out for honors from among 13,000 entries across all 50 states and 70 countries by the world’s most prestigious Web experts.
LiveUp is an online, interactive program of self-guided activities that challenge teens ages 13-19 to develop their leadership potential by applying the values of the Medal of Honor to everyday life. Sagepath's team worked closely with child psychologists, prominent national youth organizations, teen focus groups and leading educators to identify topics and activities that resonate with teens. Users can accrue points, complete gamification activities and earn points toward merchandise. Launched in October 2017 after a full year of development, LiveUp has garnered over 100,000 page views and grown membership by 500%.
“We have worked on some incredible projects and LiveUp tops the list,” advises Sagepath Principal Eric Swanson. “I can’t say enough about the Medal of Honor Recipients, the Foundation, and our team.”
The Webby’s Education category recognizes sites that are educational, promote education, or provide online curriculum or education services or resources for children or adults. Webby Awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 2000+ member judging body comprised of leading Web experts, business figures, visionaries and creative celebrities.
