A Redesign That's Right on the Money

Oppenheimer asked Sagepath to refresh its website to create a more modern, distinct and user- and mobile-friendly experience that meets the public’s perception and expectations for a company known as an innovator and leading online destination in the financial industry.

Breathing New Life into the Brand Experience

Sagepath looked across the financial services competitive landscape to determine the best-in-class for messaging, branding, and digital best practices. Sagepath also held stakeholder meetings with Oppenheimer managing directors from investment banking, equities, capital markets, and wealth management to understand their business and their customers to establish their business goals for the site and future brand.

Architecting Dollars and Sense

Insights gained from stakeholder interviews fed into UX wireframes, providing Oppenheimer with the flexibility of a Content Management System (CMS) that can showcase the full breadth and depth of Oppenheimer’s services—from corporate conferences to various M&As, IPOs, and investment transactions that Oppenheimer has brokered. The website also helps attract and engage talent, recruiting prospective financial advisors while serving shareholders and investors.

Moving Thought Leadership Forward

We leveraged CrownPeak’s CMS abilities to enable Oppenheimer to continually publish fresh thought leadership articles and white papers from Oppenheimer’s financial analysts and content services like Hearsay. Front-end development made the site mobile compliant and we leveraged CrownPeak’s Evidon and Universal Consent Platform to ensure the site is General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)- and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant.

Creating a Firm Foundation for Lead Generation

Using Crownpeak's platform, we enabled all Oppenheimer advisors to have a digital presence that fits under a standard digital platform. The new Oppenheimer site also includes personalized web pages for Oppenheimer's 1,000 financial advisors and 90 branch offices. These profiles are kept updated with the advisors' latest FINRA and RegEd data while being optimized for SEO on the local and advisor level. Their new site serves as the foundation for lead generation for prospective clients looking for financial, estate and retirement planning.

The redesigned Oppenheimer website delivers a consistent brand experience for their unique audiences, showcasing both their individual wealth management practice as well as their institutional business. The Oppenheimer website now showcases a modern, bright, and open design that reflects Oppenheimer’s position as a world-class financial firm. Their new site allows their content to be continually fresh and current while becoming positioned as thought leaders in the financial services space. Their site also helps drive prospective retail investors to connect with Oppenheimer branch offices and financial advisors near them.
